Biography

A three-piece rock band from Melbourne, formed in 2007 when Michael Maclachlan wrote a computer full of songs and decided it was time he found a band and hit the stage. Dan Beebee thought it was a good idea and brought his bass and backing vocals to the sound. With the recent addition of Rachel Styles on drums, Sweetmac are once again set to impress audiences wherever they play. Rocking hard with a unique sound, playing instantly accessible songs.

Honest lyrics, backed up by strong melodies and strong musicianship combine to create the unique sound that is Sweetmac.

Hi Everyone.

Just thought we would give you an update on whats happening with the band. We have had a small break because Steve decided to leave. We were lucky enough to find rach who jumped at the chance to play the drums with us.

We will be announcing some March gigs soon as well as going into the studio to record a 10 track album. Things are looking good for Sweetmac and we cant wait to see you all at a gig soon.

If anyone needs a band to help fill a line up, dont hesitate to get in touch.

Cheers,

Sweetmac.
