Carmen Pepper is an Australian singer songwriter hailing from a small country town in Western Australia. Carmen developed a love for music at a very young age, listening to her father sing and play guitar as a child inspired her to head in the same direction. After moving to Mandurah with her family two and half years ago, she began performing with her younger brother Sean in a duo known as 'Carmen and Sean Pepper'. Their combination of earthy songwriting and irresistable melodies has earned them a reputation in Mandurah. Carmen recorded her solo EP in 2009 at Sonic Lolly Studio in Margaret River. Her subtle pop sensibility is influenced by such greats as Neil Finn, James Taylor and Carole King. The demo track "Falling Apart", recorded with James Kempster at Rockcandy Productions in Melbourne, is just a taste of what is to come...
